Ryanair’s Flight Växjö-Gdansk now Year-Round
Before the first flight to Gdansk has even taken off, Ryanair has decided to extend the schedule making it a year-round destination.
The first departure to Gdansk will be in the end of March and the flight was originally intended to be seasonal for summer 2017 but, with the flight’s popularity and successful booking numbers, Ryanair has decided to make Gdansk a year-round destination from Växjö Småland Airport.
“It’s of course exciting that Ryanair believes in this flight as much as we do and we’re looking forward to continuing this cooperation,” said Växjö Småland Airport’s CEO Ulf Axelsson.
The flight to Gdansk is Ryanair’s third from Växjö Småland Airport. All Ryanair flights will be flown with a Boeing 737-800 containing 189 seats. Over 30,000 passengers per year are expected to make use of this new flight between Växjö and Gdansk.
The first departure to Gdansk is March 26 and flights will then continue year-round on Thursdays and Sundays with afternoon/evening flight times. Prices from 190 SEK roundtrip. Tickets can be booked most conveniently at www.ryanair.com.
